I am so excited to share my Las Vegas recap with you! Our primary reason for visiting the city was to witness two dear friends get married!. Little did we know that our Las Vegas vacation would be filled with unforgettable experiences, delectable dining, and the mesmerizing allure of the famed Strip and Fremont Street! We stayed at the Flamingo Hotel, which is nestled in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip! The hotel offers a blend of modern amenities and retro glamour, with a tropical vibe. Parts of the hotel have been recently updated. The Hotel is known for its 4-acre Wildlife Habitat, where you’ll find live Chilean flamingos, unique bird species and exotic fish! We did enjoy our room, and the view of the Ferris wheel, plus the sphere was mesmerizing at night! One frustration I did have with the hotel, was the lack complimentary coffee packets for the hotel room. Unfortunately, you have to hold VIP status, a detail that caught us by surprise during our stay, in order to have complimentary coffee refills. Pro tip: walk over to the nearby CVS store to purchase essentials like water, snacks, creamer and cold brew You’ll save money this way, rather than spending $10 on a Starbucks latte each morning, and $6 on a bottle of water. If you're feeling adventurous, take a few steps over to the LINQ Promenade and take a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel or take a trip down the FlyLINQ zip line! My biggest suggestion for Las Vegas, from our trip, would be to dine at Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen. I ordered the salmon, which was delicious, but Blake opted for the 3 course fixed menu, which costs $100 per person. I’d definitely suggest doing the fixed menu because the Pan seared scallops, beef Wellington, and dessert were all absolutely delicious! If you’re an espresso martini fan, definitely don’t leave without getting one! I would say it was the best espresso martini that I’ve ever had! Another favorite placed we dined is In & Out Burger! Yes - a fast food joint, but we had never had it before, and ended up going multiple times because it was located right outside out hotel! Simple, but delicious, and super affordable! I am a huge s’mores fan, so I knew we needed to visit Hershey’s Chocolate World, inside of New York New York! We went to try the s’mores bar, and it was delicious! A very messy, and rather large dessert for one person, but very worth it! We spent most of our days just exploring the strip! One of the most enchanting aspects of Las Vegas is the ability to stroll through various hotels, each with its unique charm. The lively atmosphere of the casinos, the lights, and the myriad of restaurants and shops create a unique experience for each hotel. Hands down, my most favorite part of our Vegas trip was the night we spent on Fremont Street! The vibrant atmosphere and dazzling lights, live music and entertainment were mesmerizing! Walking along Fremont you’ll find bars, casinos, tattoo parlors, restaurants, and loads of entertainment! A valuable tip - when in the casinos, enjoy free drinks while playing at the slot machines or gambling tables. No need to purchase drinks separately; the casinos offer complimentary beverages as part of the gaming experience. If you’re wanting to shop while in Vegas, The Mirage is an awesome hotel to do that in! I found two of my favorite shops: Altar’d State and Aritzia! We also ventured over to the Fashion Show Mall, which was HUGE! The mall is 2 levels, with a partial 3rd floor, and 241 shops! You could shop for hours in this mall! Don't miss the opportunity to capture a photo at the iconic Las Vegas sign, a symbol of the city's vibrant energy! We decided to go in around 10 AM in the morning to avoid waiting in a long line. When we got there, there were a few people there to take photos, but after about 30 minutes the line did get to be rather long, so definitely go early! Afterward, head to the Pinball Hall of Fame, where you'll experience 349 pinball and arcade games! It's a cost-effective and enjoyable way to spend an hour or so. It’s free to go inside, you just pay for however many tokens you want to play the various games! Vegas is known for its entertainment, so i'd suggest purchasing tickets to a show while you're there! You can find the full schedule of shows here! Something that took me by surprise while in Vegas, the weather and the fashion! It was much colder than I expected it to be, so make sure if you're visiting during the winter months to pack warm clothes! I brought my favorite winter coat that I've owned for years! I figured that everyone on the strip would be dressed in sky high heels, glitz and glamour outfits, but that wasn't the case! People dress up, but it wasn't as glitzy as I thought it would be! I'll share a few of my favorite outfits below with links to the clothing items! Las Vegas, with its dynamic energy, diverse offerings, and vibrant atmosphere, is a destination worth exploring. While our visit might be a one-time affair, the memories will never be forgotten! My husband and I aren’t really big city people, but Vegas is an experience that I am glad we got to enjoy! If we ever return, The Bellagio is most likely where we would stay after exploring all of the hotels, and we would have liked to rent a car to make the trip to the Grand Canyon to go hiking. We are traveling to numerous places around the Unites States this year, so follow along with us on Instagram and check back in on my blog for more travel recaps!

As the temperatures start to cool down, Blake always requests I bake anything pumpkin flavored! There's nothing quite like the combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, and warm, freshly baked goodies to set the mood for autumn. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you a delightful recipe that encapsulates all the flavors and comforts of this season – Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread. What's fantastic about this recipe is that it combines the best of both worlds: the deliciousness of pumpkin bread and the gooey, irresistible charm of cinnamon rolls, all in one heavenly loaf. Plus, it's a breeze to make with just eight simple ingredients. So, grab your apron and let's get baking! Here's what you'll need:
Pumpkin Bread: Now, let's get to the baking part. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the spice cake mix, pumpkin puree, a dash of cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg. You don't have to add the spices, but I do think it adds to the flavor! Cinnamon Swirl: In a separate bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of melted butter and mix it with 1/3 cup of brown sugar and a 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Now, layer your pumpkin batter and cinnamon swirl mixture in the greased loaf pan, alternating between the two, or fold the cinnamon swirl into the pumpkin bread. You can get creative with your swirls – there's no right or wrong way to do it! Pop your pumpkin cinnamon swirl bread into the oven for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. While it bakes, you'll want make your cream cheese icing! Cream Cheese Icing: Whisk together 2 oz. of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. Once your Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread is out of the oven, let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, drizzle the cream cheese icing over your bread! And there you have it, my friends – a slice of fall heaven! This Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread is not only delicious but also incredibly easy to make, and you can adapt it to suit your dietary preferences. It's perfect for serving at brunch gatherings, enjoying with a warm cup of coffee, or even as a delightful dessert after a cozy dinner. 🍂🎃🍞 If you try this recipe, let me know how you like it in the comments, or tag me on instagram (@moreewithmo)! Enjoy! Planning a dream honeymoon in Jamaica? Look no further than Excellence Oyster Bay, a hidden gem nestled along the shores of Montego Bay. Blake and I looked at numerous resorts for our honeymoon, and we are so happy we decided to visit Jamaica, and stay at Excellence Oyster Bay. (TIP: Look up resorts on YouTube! We enjoyed watching videos to help us make our decision on which resort to book!) This adults-only resort offers an unparalleled experience of luxury, romance, and unmatched natural beauty. With its exclusive amenities, world-class service, and breathtaking surroundings, Excellence Oyster Bay sets the stage for an unforgettable honeymoon escape. The resort does a fantastic job of keeping everything in pristine condition! I work up around 7AM one morning to enjoy beach side yoga, and the grounds crew was out mopping the sidewalks, and painting anywhere paint was chipped! It was truly the cleanest resort I have ever visited! Immerse Yourself in Luxury Accommodations: From the moment you arrive, Excellence Oyster Bay pampers you with its accommodations. We felt welcomed the second we arrived as we were handed glasses of Champagne, and greeted as if the staff had been waiting on us all day! We checked in, and had to wait a few hours until we could see our room, but that wasn't an issue because we enjoyed lunch, some cold drinks, and sat by the beach reading our books! Once it was time to see our room, we were highly pleased with the spacious suite adorned with modern and elegant furnishings, a private balcony offering stunning views, and plush king-size bed that guarantede a restful night's sleep. Each room is meticulously designed with couples in mind, providing a romantic haven where you can unwind and create lasting memories. We loved our balcony pool, and the view of the ocean was amazing! Romance and Intimacy: Excellence Oyster Bay goes above and beyond to create an atmosphere of romance and intimacy. I'm not sure we will want to visit a family friendly resort until we have kids because it was truly so relaxing not being surround by loud music, and screaming kids! I highly suggest upgrading to the Excellence Club because you have access to numerous beaches, and pools that tend to offer more space and accommodations! Take a dip in the sparkling Caribbean Sea or opt for a romantic beachfront dinner under the stars, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the waves. Our beachfront dinner was one of our favorite memories from our honeymoon! The sunset showed off this night, and the sky was truly cotton candy colors! The resort's attention to detail ensures that every moment of your honeymoon is infused with love and passion. Unparalleled Culinary Experiences: Food lovers rejoice! Excellence Oyster Bay offers an array of gourmet dining options that will tantalize your taste buds. Indulge in a culinary journey with a variety of international cuisines, from traditional Jamaican dishes bursting with flavor to elegant French cuisine. The resort offers multiple restaurants and bars, including a beachside grill and a rooftop lounge! Don't forget to try the Jamaican dish, ackee! Blake and I both loved it! There is also a coffee shop, which serves delicious Jamaican coffee! We stopped in at least twice a day to grab coffee, desserts, or ready to go sandwiches! The sandwiches are perfect to pack on a day you have an excursion! The coffee shop also offers freshly pressed juice! Relax and Rejuvenate in Paradise: Pamper yourselves at the Miilé Spa, Excellence Oyster Bay's oasis of relaxation. Treat yourselves to a couple's massage, I promise you won't regretting time away from the sun for this! We wanted to book another one once ours ended! We also did the complimentary honeymoon hydrotherapy, but honestly weren't that impressed and would have rather skipped that to get back to the beach! Exploring Jamaica's Beauty: While Excellence Oyster Bay provides an oasis of tranquility, the resort also offers exciting excursions to explore the natural wonders of Jamaica. Take a catamaran cruise, explore the vibrant coral reefs while snorkeling, or discover the lush landscapes and cascading waterfalls on a guided tour. Immerse yourselves in the vibrant Jamaican culture. We visited Luminous Bay, which is a quick boat ride over from the resort! The water turns bright blue as you move! It's essentially charged during the day. We also rode horses on the beach, and through the ocean! We visited Dunns River Falls, which was pretty, but honestly so crowded, I wouldn't do this again. Blake, my husband, would say this blog post is incomplete if I didn't add in the fantastic snorkeling opportunity you have while at the resort. I was surprised he didn't turn into a fish with the amount of snorkeling he did! While the resort offers snorkeling gear you can rent for up to one hour, he opted to buy his own at the gift shop, so that he could explore outside of the marked area. While I sat on the beach reading and tanning, he brought me numerous shells, which were all so beautiful! Huge conchs, sea urchins, massive starfish, and more! He said he saw numerous sting rays, and lots of cool Caribbean fish as well! Snorkeling wasn't my thing, but it sure did keep him busy! Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica was the perfect spot for our romantic honeymoon destination. From its luxurious accommodations and intimate ambiance to its delectable cuisine and breathtaking views, this resort sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, Excellence Oyster Bay caters to all your desires, ensuring that your honeymoon is everything you've dreamed of and more. I think Jamaica was hands down Blake's favorite vacation we have ever booked. He has talked about it numerous times since we have gotten home, and continues to listen to reggae music! We will 100% go back to Excellence Oyster Bay to experience the beauty of Jamaica again! Trying to convince Blake we need a 1 year wedding anniversary trip! Packing for your honeymoon?
