I'm back with more wedding content! This time I am sharing what Blake and I included in the groomsmen proposal boxes! He wanted to do something simple, but of course still thoughtful and fun! He didn't listen to me (no surprise there lol), and have these ready by our engagement party, so he had to ship them instead, so I'll also share how we packaged them up!
I found custom koozies on Esty, so we ordered each groomsmen one with their name on them! Blake decided to fill each koozie with a cigar and a mini bottle of either tequila or whiskey! I found the cutest cards on Amazon for him to write each groomsmen a note asking if he will be in our wedding! Each card read, 'It's time to suit up. Will you be my groomsmen?' We kept packaging simple! I purchase packing slips off of Amazon, and wrapped each gift in tissue paper and tied a bow around it with brown twine. I think these gifts turned out really cute, and each groomsman was excited to receive them! What other groomsmen gift ideas do you have? Tell me in the comments! We are still trying to figure out what to give the groomsmen on the wedding day!

I can't believe it! I only went to one store to shop for my wedding gown, and I walked out with one right off of the rack! I was so nervous for this day to approach because I am so picky, and I wanted the perfect dress! Would I cry? Would I scream ,"I'm saying yes to the dress?!" YES - I did both and the experience couldn't have been more fun! I asked for wedding dress advice before I went to go try on wedding dresses for the first time and here is what was sent to me on Instagram! - Take pictures in every dress, so you can go back to look through them to see what you like or don't like! - Go with your gut (sent by multiple people!) - Try on ALL types of dresses! (sent by multiple people!) - Have the same kind of tan you will have on the wedding day! - Don't listen to everyone else's opinions. You'll know when it's your dress! - Don't settle - shop around! - Go to small stores - Don't bring a lot of people - Try something you wouldn't normally pick looking at it on the hanger - Find the style and neckline you want first, don't worry about the design - If it feels like something is missing, be open about it! You'd be surprised what you can add! - It's your dress, no one else's! You'll know when it's the one! - Sew your cups into the dress, don't wear a bra! - Make sure your bustle point is strong - HAVE FUN, don't over stress it! - Wear nude undies! - You'll find "the one" everywhere you go, limit how many places you shop! My final tip for you, this one is from me, don't be scare to shop off the rack! I ended up buying a dress that was originally priced $2,100 over my budget, but because of minor damage it was marked down to $200 below my budget! I fell in love with it, and the price just made it that much better! Have fun girlfriend, and be as ~extra~ as you want to be! I tried on a dress that my family and friends loved, but it didn't have any sparkle, and I knew that wasn't me! This is your time to wear the dress of your dreams, so DO IT! My youngest sister is my junior bridesmaid, and she is 9 years old, so I wanted to find something a little more mature for her gifts than the flower girl boxes, but also wanted to make sure the gifts were practical.
I used the same white boxes and crinkle cut paper that I ordered from Amazon to use for the flower girl boxes (read that blog post here). I have a Cricut machine, which I am so happy about because it will be used a lot for wedding crafts! I printed her name out on gold foil adhesive paper to put on the top of her box to personalize it! In her box, I included a travel cup with her name on it that I ordered from Etsy. I thought the cup was high quality, but it can’t be washed in the dishwasher to prevent the lettering from coming off. I also included a bracelet that I made, reading ‘Junior Bridesmaid!’ Lastly, I ordered a three pack of flower sunglasses, and hot glued her name to the front of a pair using letter beads! Everything I included in my junior bridesmaid box I linked here. The personalized cup is linked here. I also included a card inside of her box asking her to be my junior bridesmaid! If you have a Cricut, you can do what I did! I purchased blank white cards, and printed the phrase ‘Will you be my junior bridesmaid?’ off on my Cricut! I hope this helps you gather some ideas for your junior bridesmaid box! I was so excited to pick out a few girly gifts for my flower girls, and I am sharing everything below!
I used the same white boxes and crinkle paper that I ordered from Amazon as I used for my bridesmaid proposal boxes (read that blog post here). Etsy has the cutest flower girl gifts, and I decided on an adorable t-shirt that reads ‘Flower Girl’ in an orangish color. We are using the tericotta color pallet for our wedding, so I thought these shirts would be perfect for my flower girls to wear them to wedding events such as the bridal shower, bridal luncheon, and rehearsal dinner! I told their mom she could pair it with a tutu or something fun like that - HOW CUTE, RIGHT?! I ordered a three pack of flower sunglasses form Amazon, and hot glued their names to the front using letter beads! I died when the youngest, Lily put them on! They will be so cute for the girls to use at the beach or pool this summer! Using the same letter beads I made the girls bracelets that say, ‘flower girl!’ These were super easy to make, and I’ll link all of the materials I used on my Amazon storefront. Lastly, I picked up the girls favorite candy to add as a sweet treat! To top it all off - I printed out their named on purple adhesive paper using my Cricut machine to personalize the boxes! I hope this helped you gather a few ideas for your flower girl boxes! You can shop my Amazon storefront by clicking here. Shop the items in my proposal boxes here. When I thought about what I wanted to put in my bridesmaids proposal boxes, I knew I wanted the gifts to be things they could use, and not the cheesy wedding things! The first place I went to - Etsy! The perfect online ‘shop’ for all wedding things! You can find pre-made bridesmaid proposal boxes on Etsy, but I decided to make my own and I’m sharing everything below! I ordered my boxes from Amazon. I thought the boxes were easy to put together and high quality. The boxes came with twine to use around the box, but I didn’t use it. I also ordered crinkle paper to fill the boxes from Amazon. I mixed the crinkle paper with a few pieces of gold foil filler. I’ve had a Cricut for years, and I’m so happy I do because I will use it so much for wedding crafts! I’ll link the one I have below! I used gold foil adhesive paper to print my bridesmaids names out to put on top of their boxes. I thought this was a cute and an affordable way to make the boxes more personalized! Shop Cricut and Amazon purchases for proposal box here! Now for the fun stuff! As I said early, I purchased most of the items inside of my bridesmaids boxes on Etsy! I ordered each bridesmaid a makeup bag personalized with their name on it. I also ordered mini candles, scented ‘wedding cake’ and they smell amazing! I purchased gold claw clips for my bridesmaids off of Amazon! I loved them so much I ordered myself a pack! I always like sweet treats, so I added a mini bottle of champagne and some candy to each box as well. I had planned to do personalized cookies, but unfortunately the lady I ordered through did not deliver on that, so I had to improvise, but I think cookies would be such a cute addition to a bridesmaid proposal box!
